BA Oxon MBBS AICSM FRSPH FEBO FRCOphthDr Imran Haq studied Medicine at The Queen's College, University of Oxford, and completed his training at Imperial College, London - working at St. Mary's Hospital Paddington and Ealing Hospital, Middlesex.He subsequently proceeded with his Specialist Surgical Training at The Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield (one of three Ocular Oncology Centres in the United Kingdom) winning multiple awards and prizes, and is now a Consultant Ophthalmic, Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.In addition to his clinical work, Dr Imran Haq is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield, and was the College Tutor for surgeons in training. He is also an Examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.Dr Imran Haq is a Fellow of The Royal College of Ophthalmology, The European Board of Ophthalmology and The Royal Society for Public Health.He is also one of NHS England's prestigious Clinical Entrepreneurship Fellows and was conferred the Royal National Institute for the Blind's (RNIB) Vision Pioneer Award, as well as winning two Innovate UK Grants for his work on Artificial Intelligence.Outside of his surgical practice, Dr Imran Haq is the founder and CEO of a medical technology company using AI to make medicine human again.
